Our Approach

At The Way We Mom, we believe meaningful mother–daughter connection is built through intention, presence, and shared experiences. We create spaces where both mothers and daughters can pause, realign, and nurture understanding.

We honor the reality that many mothers are healing while parenting, breaking cycles, learning new ways to communicate, and showing up imperfect but willing. Through restorative practices and intentional gatherings, we support emotional awareness, mutual understanding, and deeper bonds that carry beyond our time together.

Founder

Hi!

I am Cora Benard, Founder of The Way We Mom. I started this collective in June 2024 with a mom-teen daughter hike. During this hike, it became clear that both mother and daughter were yearning for a deeper, more intentional connection between one another.

As a mother raising a teen daughter, a young son on the autism spectrum and navigating a complex relationship with my own mother, I understand the importance of creating space for healing, connection, and emotional wellness within families. While on my healing journey, I discovered yoga and sound baths as powerful tools for grounding and restoration, and it inspired me to create space for mothers and daughters to experiences that healing side by side.

At its core, The Way We Mom is about honoring womanhood, strengthening bonds and moments of healing. In a fast-paced world, we want mothers and daughters to know that it's okay to slow down, reconnect, and grow TOGETHER.
